Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters attended a fire in a four storey terraced house with a basement on Saint Marks Crescent, NW1, yesterday morning.
Around one quarter of the basement was damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1111 and the fire was under control by 1148. Crews from Kentish Town and Euston fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
