Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters attended a fire in an outbuilding on West End Lane in Harlington, yesterday.
A farm outbuilding measuring ten by twenty metres was damaged by fire. Two gas cylinders were found in the premises and a temporary hazard zone was set up around the affected area as a precaution as some cylinders can explode when exposed to heat.
The Brigade was called at 2009 and the incident was over by 2337. Firefighters from Hayes, Heathrow and Hillingdon fire stations attended the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
