Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters attended a fire in an allotment shed on Great Cambridge Road in Tottenham, in the early hours of this morning
A shed measuring five by ten metres was badly damaged by fire. Four gas cylinders were found at the premises and a temporary hazard zone was set up around the affected area as a precaution as some cylinders can explode when exposed to heat.
The Brigade was called at 0007 and the incident was over by 0224. Crews from Tottenham and Edmonton fire stations were in attendance.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
