Hendon – house fire

Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a fire in a two storey terraced house on Brent Park Road in Hendon, in the early hours of this morning.

The fire badly damaged the building’s first floor. The ground floor and a roof was also partly damaged by the blaze. A woman and three children left the premises before the Brigade arrived.

The Brigade was called at 0420 and the fire was under control by 0549. Crews from Hendon, West Hampstead and Willesden stations were at the scene.

The cause if the blaze is under investigation.
