Two fire engines and around ten firefighters attended a fire in a five storey block of flats on Vince Street in Shoreditch, yesterday.
Around one quarter of the third floor flat was damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1200 and the fire was over by 1245. Fire crews from Shoreditch and Whitechapel stations were in attendance.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
