Meetings of the Authority, its committees and panels are usually held at the London Fire Brigade Headquarters at 169 Union Street, London SE1 0LL. Any variation to this is noted on the relevant body's agenda paper. There is access for people with disabilities and an induction loop for the hard of hearing. Parking is not available.
All of our executive meetings are open to the public except for when matters such as confidential, personal or financial information are being discussed. These are usually the last items on the agenda.
Agendas containing a summary of the business that will be discussed at the meetings and the reports on each topic for discussion (except any which contain confidential, personal or financial information) can generally be viewed on the London Fire website five working days before the meeting. Minutes of the decisions taken at the meeting will also be available on the website once they have been agreed.
The website contains a meetings archive of committees and panels papers for six municipal years. If you require older papers please contact our Democratic services department.
In this section you can find information on:
Members of the public can also inspect a range of other documents such as background papers relating to a report; accounts and other financial documents prepared by the Authority; reports received from the Local Government Ombudsman following a complaint of maladministration; and documents the Authority intends to submit to a public inquiry.
Committee papers are available in most languages and formats including large font and braille upon request. If you or someone you know would like committee papers different to the ones published on this website, please contact our Democratic services department. The length of time it takes for us to deliver the papers in the language or format requested will depend on how quickly we can get it translated or prepared in the appropriate format. We will advise you as soon as we know.
