London's New Year's Day Parade

01 January 2016

New Year's Day 2016 marks the start of a magical year for us as we reach our 150th anniversary.

We'll be adding some sparkle to the parade as we kick-start our year of celebrations, joining more than 8,500 performers as part of the annual London New Year's Day Parade.

Crowds will see the evolution of the fire service as a vintage, 19th century fire engine will take to the streets of the capital alongside a modern day version.

Our Fire Cadets minibus will also take part in the parade as a demonstration of our investment in the future.

About the parade

The free parade starts at 12 midday on Piccadilly, at the junction with Berkeley Street, and finishes at 3.30pm in Parliament Square. Come and give us a cheer!
